HR is not your friend! They exist to stop you from suing the company.

So if a coworker or manager is creating a toxic work environment, use it as leverage with HR to get yourself promoted. It works like a charm.

I actually just got a new position a couple weeks ago. But our new plant manager doesn't seem to like women, or maybe just me, doing a man's job. He blatantly turned his back to me twice yesterday when he was talking to the guy training me, about the very machine he's training me on. RUDE and not a very good look for a plant manager...

@Tumbleweed Document everything, even if it’s just on a word document for yourself. Once you have a tiny bit of proof, set a meeting with HR. Use that toxic work environment to get yourself more money.

@Quetzalcoatlus We do have cameras in there & especially where the machines are in case someone gets hurt or something and they have to investigate....
