Heart or thumbs up translation

So, this coworker of mine seems to be hearting comments I make. Do men heart a persons comment if they have a “crush” on you and thumbs up if they are just being platonic? I’m just curious.

Some men are hearty and some are thumby. Without knowing the man it would be impossible to say.
