How do you know if things are too intimate between you and your boss? My friends think she has a thing for me, but I never took it seriously until now

I always figured she was just informal, but lately there have been more flirtatious texts and "I miss you texts". It makes me a bit uncomfortable. She's my boss and atleast 20 years my senior, so the idea of a relationship would be very inappropriate. I've been trying to keep things professional, but she keeps pushing. Idk what to do...

Never going to happen in my life but you might need to start looking for another job. If you do like her a relationship could work if you were not reporting to her. As it is she does not understand how to be appropriate with the power she has as your superior. Then you need to go someplace public and have a conversation and tell her how you feel and how her actions make you feel and ask what her intentions are. This could go a lot of interesting ways but a lot of them are not good. Be kind and gentle.
