Turned it in to the police. The owner had already called ahead. Then he called me to thank me

Shall i keep it? If i turn it into my job, no telling where it will go
No, don't keep it it.
Unless part of your job description is to be concerned about found money at work, turn it into a trusted superior. Maybe not your immediate superior - they might have the same conundrum you are facing and make the wrong decision.

No dillema, the money's not yours to keep, neither is the authority that it goes into honest hands.
Besides, the deposit bag is missing, its origin is suspect, and you don't want it on you when a search is made.

Just leave it where you found it - if you turn it in they will arrest you for THEFT and if you give it to your supervisor they will accuse you of STEALING and if you return it to firstbank they will call the POLICE to arrest you for bankrobbery

If you don't trust handing it back...hold it and wait until the loser comes forwards.
Give it a decent time and if no-one claims then keep it.

Are there any cameras you might have been caught on?

Return it to first bank. Likely have a record of the transaction.

You should certainly not keep it.
