Mini Work Rant

Dear "add co-worker here,"
You are on vacation. You don't have to keep emailing and texting me. You are on vacation. Enjoy your vacation. I rarely get to go anywhere except within a 25 mile radius of my house.
If by some miracle I take a vacation, I will not be emailing and texting you in some control freak manner. I think you are (mostly) a young adult capable of doing your job and managing things.
I am also an adult. When you were born I was going on 30. I am MORE than capable of managing things without you. I have a brain and skills and even still, know more than you by simply being 28 years OLDER than you.
Enough calls
Enough texts
You don't need to control every damn thing that goes on.
The building will survive, we all will survive.

@ravenwind43 oh I'm sure, you're old enough, I'm sure you've seen many like this, i know i did; i remember in my early 20's right after a promotion, i called my boss, who was VERY strict and really knew his stuff, whatever the question was, he asked me, "well, what do YOU think you should do?" and of course i went through my response and he said, "well then why did you call me?" I never felt so small to date, but a learning experience for sure!!

@SilkandLace2 It is, sometimes work situations are tough but we can learn from them. She is a control freak but and she worries about getting in trouble. This first job is a good experience for her. :)
