Which is ironic because I’m considered poor and grew up that way.
I transferred to this location, from NJ to PA. My NJ location was fine. Because it was in a decent suburb and the people used basic manners. Now I work in an urban Penntucky store with demanding broke people, addicts, and mentally ill customers.
I’m truly too sensitive for this job. I’m tired of going home and crying every day because I can’t handle verbal abuse.
@sarabi I’ve been sending out my resume and applications. I have an esthetician license but I moved states. So it has to be transferred. I also got into a car accident and totaled my car, so I’m limited to what I can walk to. That’s why I’m applying now for remote jobs.
Yeah location is so important when working in stores. My friend was the manager of a grocery store in a bad area and yeah every day he had physical altercations with people on an almost daily basis. Dealing with thieves and drug addicts. He applied for a managerial position for the same store in a better area and it's like night and day is life is SO much better
