08/22/22 Old workplace

Got a text this afternoon from my past workplace boss. Texted me if I would be available to train someone one night. I replied saying that I decline the offer. I didn’t give her a reason. She replied just thought I would ask with a smiley face emoji. I thought it was weird one night to train someone then who else is training them the rest of the week. I didn’t see what the purpose was. Plus to train the person the shift I used to do is 3pm to 10pm. My new job I work some days 8 to 4 or 9 to 5 and sometimes later if there is things still to be done. Also I would be a liability honestly it’s been almost 2 months since I left and I’ve forgot some of the passcodes and keys probably. Since with new job I have new passcodes and keys to remember.

Did you tell her, all of that. That would have been polite, and high road.

Personally I think she wants you back. She could've of had the new hire come in and train, when she was there. Just curious. Why did you leave?

@GreenNatured95 Awww, I know how good, that must make you feel. I was so sure, she was. I had this feeling, that you are an excellent employee, and very sweet. Her loss and your gain.🙂🌷

@GreenNatured95 Should you ever get tempted, it should be with a HEFTY raise.

@Neoerectus I know she wouldn’t change the wage cuz the company is contracted with another company and the lost some clientele during the pandemic. Every employee makes a certain amount since they are given a budget.

She was testing the waters.
