Your first job......?

How many interviews got you your first job and how old were you when you realized it was time to start making your own money?

I washed dishes and did waitressing for a very small theme park in my area. I was 15 and it was cash in hand, the amount dependent on how much they'd made that day. I also on occasion did the kid birthday parties when they booked them at the park. I got to work with my best friend too. At the time I was stressed but now I look back, they were pretty happy days.
