My 1st visit to NYC
My company had sent me to NYC for training. I was staying across the street from the training center.
While on the sidewalk I saw women dressed up for work in tennis shoes and carrying an aluminum baseball bat.
I commented, Do those women play coed softball after work? My question alerted those around me that I've never been to NYC.
No! 🤣 They laughed. The bat is for fending off the homeless beggers and the shoes are for running away or walking from the subway.
That's sucks.
