What do you say when your male friends ask, "How are you?", if you feel like sh*t and are in a lot of pain druing your period? [I Hate My Period]

I tell him I feel like shit and if he asks why, I tell him why.

They don't bite... I typically give them ideas of something that will help me to feel better. "I could use a couple of pain killers" goes a long way to giving them a way to help you.

being in your 40's i would assume your friends know about the female body, they would understand.
