A silver lining to this overall shitty day

I got my test results back to see if I was diabetic or prediabetic. My numbers are normal except for my insulin. My insulin levels were high. And of course, I had to look up what that meant. Basically, every symptom in the book of high insulin levels was one I'd been experiencing. For YEARS I've been dealing with these things, and I felt like a nut case. To have this test done and actually see the reason why something is going on with me makes me want to cry. I've been put on Metformin, so hopefully that helps. I feel like I can breathe a little now.
