Cramps and period

Has anyone ever experienced severe menstrual cramps? Especially when urinating and defecating, it feels even worse.

I'm on my period now. And I'm feeling it.. I can't even breathe when I pee/poop because I'm holding back the pain.

Is this normal?

ps: ive noticed that its only worse when im getting stressed or depressed in the month
