@HannibalAteMeOut my hope is that this serves as a wake up call to people in general to elect better officials, as the latter ultimately determine who sits on the bench for possible decades at a time
But in a country with a cult of ignorance, it's probably not going to happen
@deadgerbil if only there were better officials in the first place 😬 And the thing is that they can easily manipulate people's education too so the same mistake will keep happening.
@Fukfacewillie in times like this, maybe. Although I come from a conservative country myself but still... there's always worse and always better I guess.
@MethDozer to some of the people responsible for this mess I guess this matters the least, I'm not sure they care about consent. Something's just telling me that they'd coerce women both to have sex with them and carry their babies.
