So, post-Thanksgiving dinner I am +3lbs again. I was good at dinner but had two plates of pie for dessert.

Well maybe it should be you donate $20 every week until you loose the weight you want to loose. I say this because what if you never loose any weight then people miss out on your donation. It may push you more to loose the weight if you had to donate every week until you loss the weight you want to loose.

Don't lose hope. This is a gradual progress.

Keep running if you can. That's aids in losing weight as well. I believe you can do this.
