Why most Terrorists are Muslims?

Crime is perpetrated, if it's crime committed by non Muslims, it's a crime. If it's crime committed by Muslims, it's called terrorism. These two words "crime and terrorist" are thrown into the mix depending on your ethnicity or religious beliefs.

The new definition of crime committed by Muslims is "terrorism". You don't have to agree but this is my opinion.

Regardless of the detailed answer you've given, the question is wrong in my opinion. You should probably have asked "why most Terrorists are considered Muslims?"
Anyway, those who commit crimes in the name of Islam are NOT Muslims. They only wrongfully give a bad image about Islam and they do NOT belong to Islam.
Besides, the word Terrorism when connected to Islam and Muslims in media is so attractive nowadays, this is why they like to always use it.
And this is so unfair!!

The number of muslim terrorists is just too big to deny them the right to be muslims. Take away all the teaching from Islam resp. the wrong interpretation of Islam, and the terror stops. By definition it is very simple to become a muslim, very very easy. You confess: Allah is god and Muhammad is his prophet. That is all it takes to become a muslim everywhere in the world. There is no single other requirment and certainly not a claim to abstain from violence. So your attempt to deny those men and women the right to be called muslim is vain.

@Dreammmer: Embracing Islam requires uttering the two testifications of faith, the confession as you called it, along with the proper belief. Without the right belief you do NOT become a Muslim even if you confess thousands of times.
Among the proper belief is to believe that killing innocent people, whether men, women and / or children is unlawful is Islam. Killing one's self is also unlawful in Islam even if you do it for a good reason like defending Islam. This is mentioned clearly in the Quran and Authentic Hadith (the sayings of the Prophet).
Hence, If anyone believes that these actions are rewardable in Islam or even just lawful or allowed, he or she becomes a non Muslim.
Therefore, those terrorists who are committing these actions are NOT Muslims.. they do it in the name of Islam but they have nothing to do with Islam.
I am not denying anybody's right to be a Muslim. I am just saying that they are NOT because of the wrong beliefs that they have which are against the teachings of Quran and Hadith.
Besides, Muslims around the world are almost 2 billions nowadays, while the number of those terrorists who fight in the name of Islam does not exceed tens of thousands, or even a hundred thousands. So, they do not represent the other 2 billions as they do not represent Islam

@meemo70: I have never heard of any other qualification to become a muslim other than the confession to allah and muhammed. It will be a waste of time to convince people that terrorists are not muslims, hardly anyone who is familiar with the problem claims that and it does not convince people. Iran denies Israel its existence, so you want to make us think that all the Ayatollahs and the leadership of Iran is not muslim? :)

@Dreammmer: All I am saying is that killing innocent people is not allowed in Islam and thus those who claim to be Muslims and kill innocent people around the world in the name of Islam are not Muslims. I know that for a fact as a Muslim whether the world is convinced or not. And YES the Muslim world is convinced.
Regarding Iran, I am against Iran to start with. I am Sunni if you know what I mean. However, 70 years ago Israel did not exist. There was a country called Palestine. That country has existed for a very long time before 1948. Israelis with the help of some Western countries occupied that land and then they denied it's right to exist. They even deny the Palestinians' right to live in their home land. They take their lands every day, they kill them unjustly every day, they destroy their houses and lands every day. So, It is not about Iran and what Iranians want, it is about what Israelis have done and are still doing.
I am not justifying what Iranian claim, never will. I am saying that Palestinians have the right to live in their home land which is Palestine, not Israel.

@meemo70: You don't have the authority to judge who is Muslim and who isn't. I worded my question according to what's happening today.
meemo70 · 51-55, M
@LostInTheDesert: We do know what is right and what is wrong. We have the authority to judge which actions, sayings or beliefs are right or not, blasphemous or not. We judge people based on that

@IstillmissEP: I think it is worse, it is denying responsibility for terror that is fed by the teaching of the Quran
