Right-Wing Gun Nuts think the 2nd Amendment should only apply to people like themselves
Right-Wing gun nuts often say we need gun ownership to defend ourselves from an oppressive government. But Trump and his mob are certainly acting like dictators. Why aren't they using their 2nd Amendment rights to protect our freedoms and civil rights from Trumpians?
It's because in their minds the 2nd Amendment only applies to people like themselves; white supremacist, MAGA, Christian Nationalist, anti-women, anti-gay, anti-environmentalist.
To them, government oppression means granting equal rights for non-whites, women, gays, trans, spending taxes on public services instead of war, and protecting the environment. They are perfectly fine with THOSE people losing their rights and civil liberties. They WANT them to be oppressed by a right-wing dictatorship.
