anyone who wants a gun for protection and hunting, should be required to do a background test first

The answer to the problem is to have tight gun control but being the USA that will not happen and the killing will continue.☹☹☹

@Anniedlr The only problem is,is that it just leaves criminals with guns bought from the black market.

@Perry1968 That is no reason not to have strict gun control measures - less guns in general circulation the less guns for the black market.

@Anniedlr No. It really isnt. I mean it respectfully. Im not trying to be smart. Theres too many guns in circulation to ever stop criminals from getting thier hands on them. I live in the UK. Even here i know people who get offered guns on the street that thankfully theyd never get a licence for here if they went down the legal route of owning such a weapon.
