@MaryJo1996 Americans have a right to defend themselves, especially the law-abiding citizens. Last I heard, there was a recent violent crime in the UK and the murder weapon was a knife. Banning guns is not going to deter crime.

I'll reiterate; zero mass shootings in the UK since gun ownership was all but banned in 1996. It really is that simple.
But yeah, next you'll bring up some nonsense about it being in your constitution, or somehow try and compare mass shootings to knife crime. (Which you no doubt have aswell.)

@MaryJo1996 The Nazis, the Chinese Communists and other regimes banned the people's rights to bear arms. You saw how that turned out.

@Barefooter25 also since others are talking about how fast guns kill people what about crowds like mostly peaceful immigrants in UK or other places with strict gun control coming in an area and taking over, raping the women or doing other crimes to defenseless citizens? Look what’s happening in Colorado right now. If nobody is allowed to legally have guns for self-defense all hell will break loose.

@cherokeepatti Chicago, NYC, LA, DC, Detroit, Portland, LA and San Francisco are other examples. So many strict gun control laws with gun violence and murders occuring every day. Especially in Chicago.
