voting at 16? everything else to 21?

clearly, IMO, the electorate doesn't represent the opinion of the working age population and guns a generationally based valuation are endangering children getting ready to enter the workforce. Therefore, if society's goal is to make people "workready" should our children be able to vote when they attain access to the workforce? (ie work-papers at 16, in NYS) and get the workers' generation in on the conversation, of their own safety. For maximum effectiveness raising the age of gun purchase at the same time would further remove firearms from the population preparing for the workforce. Guns, like alcohol, tobacco, gambling, and drugs; don't fix anything,. but make you feel better.
Looking for novel solutions.

@Ohyeah3809 drink age at 21 has resulted in more dwi, sexual assault, and delays in social maturation. Is that better?

Sounds like another good way to add millions of more uninformed voters doing their voting based on what they've read on social media

There are alot of those do u honestly think retirees are "well informed" unbiased voters?

If it were up to me nobody would vote until after they have somehow contributed to society. Working a job and paying taxes would count.

Americans do not have sex until around age 24, on average. Adolescents shouldn't vote.
