Is this necessary?

Every year I forget about the fireworks and whooping and hollering.

At least in the city there aren't many drunken yahoos shooting off their firearms in some twisted phallic celebration.

Unfortunately that isn't true in every city. Not even in heavily gun controlled states! 😔

A guy was running through our apartment complex shooting at police around 8 months ago. They blocked off the area looking for the shells for a whole day.
