I did some indirect trading around of equipment, and wound up with a rather versatile knife

Marketed as being for survival, hunting, and tactical; designed by people who provide survival training

Esee 4

I’m a big fan of the Gerber LMF ll

Bushcraft and survival is a hobby.

I beat the hell out if this knife and use it for wood splitting instead of an axe when I’m isolated.

Highly recommend it

@Ryderbike does it stay in the case with no strap when shaken hard upside down?
@th3r0n yes..the case is very good and it takes a serious pull to get the knife out.

The ESSE -5 is my go-to woods knife.

@Nitedoc that's epic, this is the first Esee I ever had, and my current constant equip

For what I use it for, I think the Esee 3 might have been better, but it's a potable EDC survival ready fixed blade

Great for opening packages when working (tv mounts, TV's, monitors, computers, POS register parts etc

And field sharpenable if things get ugly and it's what I got on me

@th3r0n It comes down to using what ever fits your needs best. There have been volumes written on chosing the "best" knife. A top quality knife that fits your needs and you have with you when you need it may be the "best" knife.

@Nitedoc I'm not sure if it's top quality or best, but it suits my needs well enough and I keep it on me all the time since I got it

Ex murder weapon

@AlchemyFox is that why the crackhead sold it for $15 when it retails for $120? There was a lot of blood...

JK lmao nah I got it for $75 after selling the Spyderco Manix 2 for $130, from a very respectable gentleman, and met him at his fancy gym
