Saying trump has declared war on Venezuela, but there is literally nothing to back this up.

He has restricted air space for Americans to travel through. That's all.

Yes, that is normally the signal, but it hasn't been given yet.

He's holding till his people tell him.

Then he'll fire the head of the military to install someone who is a complete incompetent hack who will carry out all his orders, regardless of legality.

Just wait. War is coming, but don't jump the gun yet.

This is partially correct.

No formal declaration of war has been made by the US since maybe Korea if memory serves.

That being said the naval blockade is an act of war under various international laws and treaties. In fact it is probably one of the oldest acts of war on the books since maritime law is some of the earliest forms of formal international law.
