I heard it on a news broadcast. Followed up and see there are multiple reports of an imminent ballistic missile attack on Israel by Iran. That does not sound good.

This is what happens when for short term gains you give absolute support of your empire to small regional players with beefs with their neighbors.
The US is in trouble right now because at least two are trying their hardest to force the US to fight a war for them. The best way to do that is to start a conflict that appear suicidal to force the US to intervene. It doesn't work if the smaller player can handle the situation themselves.
