I really don’t like the message…

…but I understand that it must be respected even if the people who made it aren’t.

What does “400 seconds to Tel Aviv” mean?
When it’s coming from Iran 🇮🇷 and you live in Israel 🇮🇱 it means that you’re in the crosshairs of a mortal enemy with capabilities that you can’t ignore. It seems like war is an inevitable consequence and with 2 aircraft carriers and 2 separate support fleets with an unknown number of submarines, the US is poised to act as well. I really don’t want to have to explain this stuff to my niece and nephews because they are so young and innocent but they are so perceptive too. They see and hear far more than we could ever imagine.
And this is the only the beginning… hopefully not the end as well 😔

where did you hear it?

@pancakeslam
Several sources from the Iranwire website the Jerusalem Times and Eurasian Times
It’s been painted on the side of a building in Tehran in 3 languages in both Hebrew and Arabic specifically.
It could be propaganda but several high ranking Israeli officials said that they have to take the threat seriously and this came out almost 6 months ago so it’s not directly tied to the recent attacks
I would Google the phrase “400 seconds to Tel Aviv” to get a list of sources for this information as I learned the most from reading several articles and watching a mini documentary on the Dark Tech YouTube channel.

@2cool4school OK I read about it. I don't think that Iran has the capability yet as far as my opinion counts. But they are surely trying and I see that they have Russian backing and they might help to develop the technology. Surely any decent American will back USA/Israel, not Iran/Hamas-Palestine/Russia....

@pancakeslam The point I took away from what I read is that the threat can’t be ignored. It could just be propaganda but it could also be true. And it can’t be ignored. I would like to ask some who specializes in Iranian intelligence but I don’t think they could tell me if they wanted to. My point was that they can’t just be saber rattling and making empty threats and then there’s the size of the US military presence both at sea and in the strategic advantageous locations on land and Syria is also a ticking time bomb as they have IS captives in converted prisons and their families in massive camps and both are vulnerable to insurgent incursions by their enemies and their allies. It’s getting pretty spicy and only time will tell. Russian backing has always existed in Iran as they have been supplying drones to Russia for the Ukrainian conflict.
Like I said originally it just isn’t something that can be classified as a false threat. At this point in time everything must be considered a possibility.

@2cool4school It just doesn't seem to be scaring the Israeli defense minister but I take your point. After the October 7 surprise nothing should be taken for granted.

@2cool4school & @pancakeslam Much like Iran's Qaher-313 in 2013, their supposed "Stealth" fighter aircraft, this is more than likely another propaganda attempt by Iran, attempting to intimidate pretty much no one into believing they possess modern hardware. The harsh sanctions against Iran have meant that their only suppliers of Military hardware has been Russia who isn't selling their most advanced hardware to Iran. Doesn't mean they can't do some damage with what they have but they will get annihilated by most modern militaries like Israel and the US. Iran would struggle to even detect modern stealth fighters and bombers like the F22, F35 and B1, B2, let alone be able to do anything about them.

@spjennifer Iran still has more missiles than any other country in the Middle East. That’s an agreed upon fact by the international military community. Whether hypersonic or not it’s possible to use them in much the same way as Hamas and overwhelm the defense systems of Israel and the allies who have come to their aid. I really hope that it never comes to that.
spjennifer · 61-69, T
@2cool4school Oh I don't doubt that Iran has lots of missiles but I don't think they want to attack any US ships, or even the Israelis. Those Iranian missile batteries require radar to launch and the moment they light up their radars, they are susceptible to attack by anti-radiation missiles. Also, pretty much every US warship has Tomahawk cruise missiles that can easily target those missile batteries. Iraq's military, then the 3rd largest in the World was taken down in 3 weeks, how long do you think Iran would last?
2cool4school · 46-50, F
@spjennifer Oh ok 👍 well then I guess we have nothing to discuss or worry about… lol
I favor research over confirmation bias but it’s your opinion and I appreciate you sharing it.
spjennifer · 61-69, T
@2cool4school My "confirmation bias" and "opinion" are based on 35+ years of Military Service and presence in multiple wars, including in Iraq, twice. Do you have any clue as to the capabilities of one single CSG (Carrier Strike Group)? Let alone what the US has now moved to the bases in Iraq and elsewhere in preparation for what Iran might do? Don't forget to take into consideration that should Iran attack the US, all of our NATO allies would be beholden to help defend against Iran. Yes do some more "research", by all means...

@spjennifer totally avoided the original statement that Iran 🇮🇷 has more missiles than any other country in the region. I guess it would validate your argument in your eyes if you just pivot to what you think you know from the GWOT but things have changed since then… yes the military has many assets in the region both in the form of the carrier strike groups and the numerous military installations and bases that have popped up like fast food franchises except with deadly weapons, tactics and most importantly people. But I guess you didn’t understand that I wasn’t disputing that or disagreeing with you on that point. However you want to interpret my statements is up to you. Thank you for your service and hope that you are having a wonderful weekend.

@2cool4school Bob Ross is rolling in his grave because of that *troll* posting that Gif

@spjennifer
Confirmation bias, a phrase coined by English psychologist Peter Wason, is the tendency of people to favor information that confirms or strengthens their beliefs or values and is difficult to dislodge once affirmed.

It seems like you might not understand what this term means so here’s a little more help. Good luck with that… 🤔🙄
2cool4school · 46-50, F
@pancakeslam oh for sure. I wasn’t going to acknowledge someone who can’t join the discussion and clings on to the hem of another’s skirt lol strap hangers suck almost as much as tweakers.

This is just one of many examples of a repository of knowledge based upon data collected by a variety of means. But I’m sure you already knew that given that you were in the region in a much different time in the world than today. Try it you might learn something that you thought you already knew lol
spjennifer · 61-69, T
@2cool4school So what's your point, that Iran should be feared because they have lots of missiles? Big whoop, Iran wasn't able to beat Iraq in what, 8 years? and the coalition forces beat Iraq in 3 weeks, so how long do you think Iran would last in a concerted effort by combined, modern military forces? We have lots of missiles and drones too. Yes, IISS has some valid information but that still doesn't change reality... I was last in Iraq in 2015, have you ever even been in the Middle East? I'm well aware of the meaning of "Conformation Bias" and like I said, my knowledge and opinion are based on actually having been in the region and seeing for myself the military capabilities of some of the countries involved, can you say the same?
2cool4school · 46-50, F
@spjennifer So what’s your point?!?! I know that you missed mine despite it being written in this very post. I’m starting to doubt that you have any legitimacy and even less intelligence…
But you do you. Just don’t do it around me. I’m allergic to people who are full of $hit and run their mouth like a projectile vomiting toddler on crack.
Oh and you blend!! lol 😂
spjennifer · 61-69, T
@2cool4school Speaking of "projectile vomiting" 💩, you're very adept at doing that and you can spew all the pro-Iranian scare tactic crap you want. They still don't have hyper-sonic technology and none of the superpowers are going to compromise themselves by selling/giving it to Iran. Oh and what tells you that Israel doesn't have some hyper-sonic missiles of its own? they definitely have an anti-missile laser system that is almost production ready...

@spjennifer You watch too much tv 📺 and you need new glasses 👓 if you think your wide shouldered narrow @ss passes lol 😂
