I've a PS4 Pro and its holding up very well.
Would I like a PS5 sure, but not at the prices their asking for them. Not only that it seems their making new games for the PS4 and then porting them over to the PS5 with enhancements of course.
The market for the PS4 is still strong and doing well like your xbox.👍

@eyeno yeah ive noticed games on xbox one have the same ones as on ps4

I personally advocate for pc gaming systems over consoles.
They typically have no problems playing the latest games with little or no need for upgrades over time.

@Thexboxoneguy1991 yes but that will eventually change. meanwhile many computers made around the time the xbox one came out will continue to run the latest stuff well after development for the xbox one platform stops.
