Project scorpio will be out next year. so if you really plan on getting an xbox it's best to wait for that one.

There's also the Nintendo switch that everyone will probably be getting.

PS4 Pro though is already delivering the hair like margin away from 4k graphics. So really all of them are pretty great picks. It just comes down to the games you want really.

Go for the PS4, and you'll have something to kill time in winter with. After 3-4, you could try the newer Xbox, or something.
