Nintendo's New Switch EULA Is a Security Nightmare Waiting to Backfire on Them and Their Customers

[media=https://youtu.be/o9QPBYvpXdE]

there is no way to build a backdoor into the switch that will enable them to do this that malicious 3rd parties cannot figure out how to reverse engineer and then exploit.
black hat hackers will absolutely figure out how they're bricking systems and then once they do it's simply a matter of sniffing the communications protocol and before long one can reverse engineer how to remotely connect to a switch and
then all that stands between you and your ability to cause mayhem is your ability to trick people into revealing their IP Addresses.
it will be a backdoor that back door will use its own language to talk to the client (your switch) and all of that traffic can be captured, the packets analyzed and thus the protocol reverse engineered.
And once you know how the nintendo server sends the brick signal and capture it, you can now cause destruction and mayhem.
This wouldn't even be particularly difficult to pull off with a handful of tools to get the switch to talk to the PC and using wireshark to capture the packets for instance.
with some coding skills it would be relatively trivial.
I know a lot about how this could be accomplished.
it's very concerning.
it will open up avenues to essentially troll your fellow gamers or retaliate against someone just for saying something you didn't like or talking shit about you.
which happens all the time in the world of online gaming
also the number of hackers who are also gamers is enormous.
