Stardew Valley: Monsters [I Love Rpgs]

I was working today, and this question randomly popped into my head: what happens if you put on monster musk and drink oil of garlic? Monster musk isn’t a drink, so oil of garlic shouldn’t cancel it out, at least in theory they should be able to coexist; however, they have opposite effects. I tried exploring the regular mine after drinking oil of garlic and for five levels I didn’t encounter a single monster, but monster musk is supposed to draw monsters out of hiding. Has anyone tried this combo?
