Stardew Valley: Casino Slots [I Love Rpgs]

I’m playing slots at Qi’s Casino, and they’re not at all following the pattern. I’ve read online that the only way to profit at the casino is to play slot machines, know the pattern, and always bet 10 when you’re supposed to lose and bet 100 when you’re supposed to win. The pattern, so I’ve read, is you lose your first 14 times, then you win one, lose one until you’ve won four to six times, then the pattern starts over again. So it should look something like this:

It’s screwing up my betting. Can anyone explain this? The only additional clue I can think to add is that Welwick’s TV program said it would be one of the luckiest days.

I had a new theory: maybe my standard for a win was too low. Maybe it still counts as a loss if all you get is one or two cherries or three parsnips (x2, x3, and x5 your bet, respectively), because all the other positive results are worth way more than any of those. So I went back to the casino and recorded 50 plays counting wins and losses that way. The results are above. Looks terrible, don’t it? Well I started with 140 Qi coins and finished with a paltry 7,140 Lol! Note: this time I went on one of the [i]unluckiest[/i] of days.

On the second W I bet 100 and got three cherries, which won me more than enough to buy [i]everything[/i] at the casino store I wanted. The other two W’s were both three milks, which is the smallest result I record as a W.

@JP1119 Came back needing to buy magnets, decided to play 50 more rounds. I initially forgot to record this, but I think I started with 19,130. Again, one of the unluckiest of days.

Decided to quit after just 30 this time, my last play resulting in three stardrops. Three W’s, one of them being three stardrops and another one being three nautilus shells in only 30 plays, not too bad considering how the spirits were supposed to be very displeased today, doing everything in their power to make my life difficult. Wtf? Finished with 35,070.
