Stardew Valley: Casino Slots [I Love Rpgs]

I’m playing slots at Qi’s Casino, and they’re not at all following the pattern. I’ve read online that the only way to profit at the casino is to play slot machines, know the pattern, and always bet 10 when you’re supposed to lose and bet 100 when you’re supposed to win. The pattern, so I’ve read, is you lose your first 14 times, then you win one, lose one until you’ve won four to six times, then the pattern starts over again. So it should look something like this:

LLLLLLLLLLLLLLWLWLWLWLWLW

So far my record looks roughly like this:

WLLWLLWWW

It’s screwing up my betting. Can anyone explain this? The only additional clue I can think to add is that Welwick’s TV program said it would be one of the luckiest days.
