Why is Zelda so hard

So my oldest boy got up early today I got him cleaned up gave him a snack and we sat down and he wanted to play Zelda. Just when I thought I had mastered video games and was about to conquer the Nintendo universe my hopes and dreams are shattered. Link died so many ways. He drowned, he froze to death, he got too hot, he caught on fire, the little green circle bar thing ran out and he fell down a mountain, he got attacked by bees, he got killed by a wolf, he got killed by a troll, he got killed by a chicken, he fell off a cliff. So I would think I will stick to Donkey Kong and Mario kart racing because those games seem a bit more skill level LOL.
