I've been playing The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword since it's the earliest Zelda game chronologically and Tears of the Kingdom has sky islands, too.

@IWasCallingYaLarry There's 900!? I've got 40 😅 For some reason I thought there were 300.
That really sucks that you lost the game, especially since it's still being sold for almost the same price as the sequel, which is ridiculous.

@Redstar yeah that's nintendo being nintendo. And yes there are 900. I wish I was joking.

@IWasCallingYaLarry Well I definitely wont be getting all of them. And I just remembered that you give those seeds to someone, so I would have found more than 40. I'd been thinking it seemed like a small amount and now I know why.

@Redstar yeah you give them to Hestu who rewards you with more slots to hold up to more items, weapons, shields, etc.I only found 165, so that means there's 735 I never found lol.

@IWasCallingYaLarry Thanks but I'd found him again already. Also, I learned something you might want to know if you don't yet: They added that many korok seeds so people wouldn't have the pressure of finding all of them. Since only 441 can be used to increase your item slots and with so many more out there, you'd often still be able to find new things to discover and do. Which would also explain the reward for finding them all.
I know it's still a thing left undone but maybe it'll make it easier on you knowing that you weren't even meant to find all the seeds in the first place.
