Minecraft update!
The witch and iron farms are working after some debugging. I also started a very basic wood and bamboo farm, meaning a lighted grid to plant them on and harvest manually after some time. And I dug down a staircase to diamond levels, started mining tunnels in search of those and found my first ones.
Next: find enough diamonds for a full set of armor, weapon and tools, enchant them, set up an XP farm to repair them and give me some supply of string, find a spot for a slime farm, and build an item storage to replace the 3 chests that are starting to get kind of full.
