I didn't watch it live but I did check out some of the game announcements. Can't really say there was much of anything that jumped out at me this year. Luckily I have enough backlog to keep me busy until the end of days.

Those things haven’t properly represented gamers in years.

When they have a bunch of games contending for awards that knowingly flopped for a reason, it’s just an internal circle jerk between the developers and the hosts, and not an actual reflection of quality and merit.

Wouldn’t waste my time on such things.
