Reminds me of my immediate post-college days, when my gaming group would try to get together at someone's house to play, and their cat came in and messed everything up. Good times.
I played D&D regularly in my late teens, when I was in college but still living at home. We would go to this guy's house and down countless beers, then go to Taco Bell for "fourthmeal" (no one called it that, but that's what it was.
I remember one time this guy who never played with us sat in on a game, and afterwards he said it looked like D&D gave us something to do while we were getting drunk.
I've just been playing through the old baldurs gate/pillars of eternity games..I've only played D&D IRL once without a board and it was so good. Though the dungeon master was on coke so he wouldn't stop talking 😂
I am trying to start up a game here, using the original series. As cripple there is not much entertainment available to me. Even when I do go out I end up sitting alone. Guys don't want a cripple around when they try to hook up with women.
