4th game in 6 weeks
after starting my console video game venture
(see previous post), beating 3 Pico-8 games in 3 weeks, 2 in one day, I got into a bit of a lul from searching through literally thousands of games I got with my CubeXX.
Anbernic does you the service of organizing the games into the consoles they debuted on, but are disorganized and dysfunctional in so many other ways.
part of this lul is waiting on a whole proper SDcard setup so I can reorganize the 2500(?) games in a way/ways that make sense to me
the other thing I am waiting on are some HDMI bit, one of the reasons I got the CubeXX was it has HDMI-out, to view it on TV, I Could get a BT controller but there's no Need to.
All this to say I beat my 4th game in 6 weeks, a GB-DMG length game actually for the FamiCom called KAGE retro futuristic hack n' slash, 5x4 levels that balance the number of enemies with the amount/ level of platforming.
1-1 to 1-3 is just trying to feel out this game, 1-4 through 2-4 is the only grindy-ish parts. the real dopamine hits come at 3-1, 4-1 and 5-1, 5-4 is the big boss and suddenly you are caught off guard the end credits rolling at the end of 2 hours left with all this momentum wanting to knock down another 5 bosses.
