If you can get your hands on Silent Hill 2 for the PS2, I highly recommend it. Not sure how I feel about the remake though. 🤔

@thepeculiarpanda I have a PS2 laying around and I should check if it still works. The biggest downside to that are finicky save cartridges
The remake looks pretty good too, expect I'm not ready to blow 70 bucks on it
Do you have doubts about the remake or you really just don't know about it?

@caPnAhab I've watched a video of most of the remake (bought it a few months ago but my computer isn't strong enough to run it unfortunately) and I really don't like what they did with the combat system. It kind of takes away from the survival horror aspect of it and it's not really scary from what I've seen.

@thepeculiarpanda dang that's too bad. I did find my PS2 just now. It works so I'll probably consider the original

@caPnAhab It's one of my favorite games. :)

@thepeculiarpanda oh no... I think I'll be doing the remake first...
Didn't expect this to be even more expensive

@caPnAhab It's definitely gotten a bit pricey. I bought mine for 25 bucks and I'm very glad I got it when I did. 😅
I wish the PS3 version had been worth the time but they messed it up pretty spectacularly.
