Bloodborne the little Yharnam Girl, random thoughts

It's a little side mission in the game where the girl's fate is to die either option you choose. Those are Dark Souls games for you. But I had a random thought about her weird sister. If you don't give the little girl her missing mother's brooch and tell her to go to the safe haven, she dies. Then you can receive her ribbon that is really just a cosmetic thing off of a giant pig in the sewer, indicating she was eaten.

Then you have the option later to give the ribbon to her sister at the window but in a matter of a few seconds, she goes from worried about her sister to psycho, indicating she wanted the ribbon all along while laughing sinisterly.

Later she commits suicide and then you get a white ribbon.

But I had a weird thought, if that's indeed her sister why did the little girl say she was all alone? It could be that the sister was evil all along and she felt alone but it's weird how no one was in the house before and all of a sudden there's this sister.

I've also heard the sister changed due to the palemoon and it makes monsters, when the sister killed herself, she must have remembered the girl she cared for.

But it is a story loophole if anything because why would the girl claim she was all alone if she had a sister in the house all along and then who is the mysterious sister?

My one gripe about souls games is the lack of exposition. They do so much work world building yet seem to want to keep so much of it deliberately secret. I dont understand it.

There's enough there to put together that there is indeed backstory and lore behind nearly everything, but not quite enough to draw definitive conclusions.

Did you play sekiro shadows die twice?

@Eternity Yeah that's my only annoyance too is what you mentioned. I hate having to look up everything and quests are often confusing. I know they do it on purpose though. I think I heard them say about Elden Ring that the background they wanted entirely organic in nature.

That's what I love and hate at the same time. Dark Souls games are one of the few games in which everything seems so fluid and organic, as if it's just part of the story.

But it's also the most irritating because you're left in the dark and also the amount of quests that you can miss out on is super annoying.

It's kind of a love hate thing. I love how fluid the world is, I've never seen any game as good as world building as FromSoftware but the quests and the story behind everything is lacking for that same reason.

Actually it's on my steam deck, I've played the beginning but I have to start over and beat it. I actually started with Elden Ring actually. Became a huge fan and then starting backwards haha.

Now I'm on Bloodborne, then it's going to Sekiro. I want to eventually play Demon Souls but I can't find it anywhere except PS5 and I don't have PS5, I have PS4 and the steam deck.

Then I want to play the original Dark Souls one and two eventually.

@SatanBurger I bought a ROG Ally to play older games, PS5 graphics are barely better than PS4
