Tv channels have a habit of moving if the tv is connected to an outside source.
Cable box; satellite dish; router; provider etc.

If you've already tried an auto scan on your tv and not found it, try a manual scan (if that's possible)

I can't imagine the wavelength your PS3 ooerates at has suddenly been shutdown by any 'upgrade' from your Cable/satellite provider, but i suppose it's possible if they're trying to provide 'services for the future' which is often the reason given why things suddenly disappear.

Also, i know this will sound stupid, but check remote control batteries and any Firestick type devices you may have connected.

@Picklebobble2 Yeah, I've made sure nothing else was connected to other HDMI ports. The batteries are also fine, and nothing USB type are connected.

@xSiFiGamer2016x on the back of your tv see if there's a serial number.

I had to do something similar with mine recently and found the serial number and a helpline phone number !

@Picklebobble2 If the problem persists, then I'll give the company a call. 👍

I’m not even sure why my TV occasionally calls my PS5 an unidentified device 🤷‍♂️

@Zaphod42 That's weird, it's not supposed to. If you have a smart TV, then it should automatically recognize your system.
