How does this Mortal Kombat fanfiction sound?

I've drawn inspiration from bits of the og Mortal Kombat, MK9, MK Legends: Scorpions Revenge, MK Legends: Battle of the Realms, and MK: Onslaught. The tournament will unfold very similarly to Scorpions Revenge, Scorpion will learn the truth about Bi-Hans innocence after killing him, he will attack and defeat Quan Chi before being taken back to the Netherrealm. Shinnok will try to detain scorpion indefinitely but Ashrah will free him and he will go to Earthrealm to make peace with the younger Sub-Zero as well as warn Raiden of an impending invasion by Shinnok and his Army of Darkness. When he gets there events similar to Botr will have unfold and a do over tournament will be held in Outworld. Instead of having Reiko at the tournament I decided to have Noob Saibot in his place, Skarlett in place of D'Vorah, and Mileena in place of Jade. I also have Kenshi replace Stryker for the tournament. While the tournament is being fought Sub Zero and Smoke are trying to evade the Lin Kuai (not sure if that's how it's spelled) Cyberninjas. Scorpion will have a few fights in different parts of Outworld and he will eventually find Sub-Zero and form an alliance with him. Raidens forces will win the tournament and sometime later Shao Kahn will invade Earth. Mortal Kombat fans do you like my particular take on the story? I know it's not that good but I am a huge Mortal Kombat fan.
