I installed 30GB of graphics mods for Morrowind.

And it's finally running and looking like a modern game.

I especially love not having 2D faces anymore where it was just a texture file placed over a face-shaped box. ☺️

Plus got it running multiplayer, just waiting for my brother to finally bother installing it so we can play together.

@Teirdalin yup! I really want to play that one through when it finishes. I think they are only 40% done though.

I do remember reading about a try to put Morrowind in the oblivion engine. But it petered out.

@AceWarbringer 100% you gotta try OpenMW and some of the cool new mods people have made. Also either Starwind or Tamriel Rebuilt with the AI texture upscaler mods, normal maps, and AI voice acting.

@AceWarbringer I mean, anything can handle morrowind. Maybe don't do the AI upscaled textures though.
Also, check out https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/47803 for Morrowind. It's something that we have needed for YEARS but nobody really got around to doing it.
