I didn’t even realise it, but I’ve finally outgrown video games

I have no interest or inclination in them anymore. I’ve always wanted the next console- I owned Gameboy Advance SP, the DS, the Wii, the PSP, Playstations 2-4 and now that the PS5 is here, I don’t want to buy it. I intended to in 2020 and I had the money to, but I decided not to. The graphics in some games are phenomenal, but I’d rather do something else with my time. I privately look down upon people who are in their 20s and 30s who still play video games. Now, there seems to be something very childish about it.

There is much more to do than to play video games and I don’t seem to have the time and I’m happy that part of my life is over, because I don’t miss it
