I wish they'd make video games that were educational

Like building construction or fencing (the sport) or horse riding and taking care of animals and livestock ..

Just as a few ideas but like other subjects as well.. use all this tech for kids to learn stuff instead of war games.. 😐 sheesh

I Personally would like a virtual reality horse riding simulator 😅 maybe arcades could have them.. *sigh*

Educational and sport center arcades 😅

I think mine craft prolly is good. Never used it with my kid. I have a game for coding for my 4 year old. He has robotics class too that uses tablets and enhances their logical and analytical thinking.
@BloviatingBuffoon my cousins love minecraft

Well, there are education games... but they are often boring because they have to meet education managers checklists to get funded by public money.

Then there are entertaining games which are not educational of course. Those companies are chasing funloving customers.

So, the market for edutainment games is not really big. The skills necessary to make edutainment games requires teachers with some background in pedagogy and programming, which is rare to find.

Id actually be interested in games if that were the case.
i think a lot og game tech wold be very good at this,
like a tour of old Rome or
how to build a bridge
Like Sim City or Farmville!
@SStarfish😅 I'd heard of it, but never played it myself. So it was mainly managing "livestock" and a little plot of territory you could develop?

Sim City I rented back in the day, that was a lot of fun. I think they even came out with a Sim Earth too.
@SethGreene531 i had sims in the city but i felt like they were always trying to go to the bathroom 😅 FarmVille had these plots and they took different amounts of time to grown different things and it cost/paid different amounts and they had animals too that made $ like you'd have to milk your cows or whatever, or pick your fruit trees or harvest your crops (by clicking on everything) or you could pay to have it done.. then there were things you had to have your friends send you so you always had to ask for help.. some people had alt profiles just to play their FarmVille game as their "friend" 😅 smh
@SStarfish That's actually a really neat conept; and much like real-life farming-- you rely on one another.
I wonder if your farm workers can form a union to strike for better pay and conditions 😄
The Alt account thing is too funny!--and a brilliant solution!

Sim City came before The Sims social gaming platform, and probably grew out of games like Leisure Suite Larry.

I didn't let those games in the house. It's up to parents to parent their kids. Of course mom and dad need to not play those games too .......
Blooket is used in ror reviews......You are so right...
