Side Questing in Fortnite

Doing quests in Fortnite is like the most unenjoyable aspect of the game. I spent the last 4 hours trying to complete several quests to unlock a new character. It's hard to complete a quest when 99 other players are actively trying to kill you. Jesus Christ I don't know how I got through it.
