New Minecraft server!
My old Minecraft community pretty much died. A few promises of still being interested but being too busy "right now" resulted in nobody other than me logging in for even one second in three months. Opening it to others 24/7 cost me $35 a month and in the current economy I can barely survive, so I canceled my hosting subscription and decided to set up a server on my own computer instead. It's technically multiplayer, but I only put it online when I want to play. So basically it's single-player with the option to allow occasional visitors.
I still enjoy slightly modifying the game as much as playing it, and recently I've been working on automatically balancing prices to trade items for, based on how easy it is to obtain them. I've already successfully implemented parts of that, but there are still many other factors to take into account. I probably won't be able to make it as perfect as I initially hoped to, but I'm confident I can make it fairly well balanced, at least in the long term with some further auto-balancing based on trades after determining the initial value.
