Does your PS4 regularly have an anneurysm?

@Torsten yes. I had to factory reset everything and im afraid i may have to do it again.

@JestAJester I think rebuilding database is different to reset to factor settings though. I am no expert on it but I remember i had issues on a ps4 and I would reset it to factory and that still didnt help. Rebuilding the database did and you dont lose anything by doing it as in deletion of games or anything like a factory reset

@Torsten Well I originally went with all the other options before the factory reset, no luck. Now its asking me to reinstall Version 9.03 from a flashdrive, which ive attempted. Apparently its the wrong file

@JestAJester damn. Have you tried getting in touch with playstation support? they might find a solution or might just have to call it a day on that particular console sadly

@JestAJester My brother not long back was having similar issues with his ps4 and once he rebuilt the database, it all went away. Same with my ps5.
It would turn off by itself sometimes when trying to play Horizon Forbidden west and I rebuilt the database following instructions on google and it fixed it right up for both our consoles.
I didn't even know what rebuilding the database was till it was suggested to me

just reread it again and it sounds like a corrupted database you got going on.
