I Like to Play Video Games

@raysam363 I agree, I just read the initial reception on its Wikipedia page and disagreed with like all the positive reviews. Maybe it was great at the time or something, but it’s not now. The character models aren’t animated as realistically as the standard of today so I can’t praise that (the loading screens seem impressive for the time), the dialogue can be pretty poor, the voice acting is weird, that technology that Jayson has is so strange and very unfitting for the setting, the camera is just awful, and controlling the character is a bit difficult. Above all, I don’t find the story compelling. Detroit: Become Human was very interesting to me but this one isn’t. Do you think I should just give up and stop?

Didn’t that one get bad reviews though? Also, the word is lose. Loose is a totally different word.

Beyond was highly reviewed because of the face capture technology and Ellen Page, but honestly it hit a ton of tropes throughout the story and there never actually felt like there was danger. Neat visuals, but subpar story.

Heavy Rain isn't too long, but if you don't want to slog through nobody would blame you.

True...but I really don’t care. I’m gonna stop playing. Annoying because I wasted so much time....

@ShaythePanTransMan Thought you may have been interested, but really Quantic Dream never really sinks the hook in for me. Lots of flash, but little substance.
