Maybe because 30% of them are Call of Duty xD

Hmm...I see you have Fallout 3 though...try a Kill Everything run...those are apparently fun ;)

@Fangirlsarah1996 i literally play the call of duty games for the Zombies mode xd and Fallout 3 is having major problems with windows 10. I can't play for more than half an hour without crashing. I'd do a kill all run, but I'm sure my pc would die with along with all the NPC's

@Siril Hmm...Fallout: New Vegas is pretty cheap I think (I think I grabbed it in a sale, but it was like £5/6 for the collectors edition)

It's sad though as Fallout 3 is apparently the best one to do a Kill Everything...as the game really wants you to be a hero xD

@Fangirlsarah1996 All bethesda games want you to be a hero, but being morally good in bethesda games is boring. I could go kill that dragon for you, Mr Mage. Or I could steal all your stuff and buy another house.

I might pick up New vegas then. Hopefully that doesn't have issues with my OS xd

@Siril New Vegas wasn't actually made by Bethesda, sure they published it and put their name all over it but it's an Obsidian game.

You can quite easily play the game as a murderous psychopath who only wants to bring pain and suffering to everyone they meet.

But I do play it on my PC...works fine enough, though it's still a Bethesda game, created in a very short time (Which is impressive given the detail put into the game itself)

Aaah. I didn't know someone else worked on New Vegas. I'm not sure it's common knowledge that it was only published by bethesda - not developed. That's a bit sad honestly.
Even if it doesn't run well, I'm sure there are some mods to fix performance or whatnot.

@Siril Fallout has a history of changing hands anyway, it's not unreasonable for the pattern to continue.

But yeah I guess Obsidian were contracted to make Fallout: NV while Bethesda worked on "other things" idk...they were given such a short time that there aren't many original assets in the game...a lot are reused or cannibalised from Fallout 3

Though New Vegas is certainly more of a Western with literal cowboys and indians sometimes xD

It does sound interesting. I'll wait for the next Steam Sale and pick it up. It should be cheap by then.

And, "working on other things"? Like figuring out how to bug up fallout 4? Or making decent screenshots of fallout 4? Either way, they couldn't have been that busy.
Fangirlsarah1996 · 26-30, F
@Siril Yeah, Bethesda games go for dirt cheap prices in the sales lol

Idk...this was a time before Skyrim was released, they may have been working on that at the time.
Siril · 22-25, M
@Fangirlsarah1996 I played a lot of Skyrim. It's good for screenshots. That's the only thing I can say positive about it. Unfortunately I played it on ps4 so I know nothing about the mods. A lot of people like Skyrim for scale, but if the stuff in that scale isn't good, then there's no point in having a large amount of content. Needless to say, I have nothing positive to say about Skyrim. I feel Bethesda should have put more resources into new Vegas in that case. Rushing obsidian to a deadline so they could work on Skyrim seems a bit wasted to me

@Siril Eh, they say people work well under pressure...Obsidian is an amazing example of this...seriously there are side quests that have more options to complete them than Fallout 3's MAIN quests xD
Siril · 22-25, M
@Fangirlsarah1996 that's the kind of RPG I like. Ones where side quests are as detailed as main quests. Well, I applaude obsidian, even though I am yet to play the game. It's not easy working under that much pressure and being able to put out a worth while product
