I Know When We Were Little Kids We Never Wore Seat Belts

We did not use seat belts either as kids in the 70s. If I rode in a car that had seat belts, I would sometimes wear them. When I bought my first car in 1983, I started to use them and have ever since.

@daisymay It was like that for many families. I used to ride in the cargo area of our station wagon when I was around 5 years old. Was fun then, but now seems too dangerous. Take care.

We didn't have seat belts, we didn't have child car seats, We ate red meat, cooked with bacon grease, and sometimes ran with scissors.

I remember not wearing seat-belts until well into the early 90's when it became law...
