Damn Mechanics

Last week or so I thought my spill guard fell off my truck. I had no way to see because I couldn’t get under my truck. Today I had an appointment to get it fix. I gave them old spill guard. Couple hours later I went back I paid the bill. On my bill it said removed item per customer. I asked “the person what’s this charge?” She called the mechanic over he said “we removed your spill guard and put a new one on” I said “I handed it to you” He said “there was one already on” I said “ why didn’t you guys call me and say I didn’t need one” he said “on the estimate you wanted it replaced” I must of ran it over on the freeway it was dark I couldn’t see. It looked exactly like one for my truck. I’m out all the money.
